Dynavap Getting StartedUpdated 7 months ago

Welcome to the DynaVap! 🌟
Are you new to DynaVap? No worries—we've got you covered! DynaVap is a battery-free vaporizer heated with a torch or induction heater. If you don't have one, we recommend getting one for the best experience.

How Dynavaps Work: 🔥
DynaVap operates without a battery. Before you start, inspect your package to ensure everything is in tip-top shape.

What’s Included

  • M and B devices come with a snap stash.
  • Omni and VonG(i) devices come with a wooden DynaStash.

Dynavap features interchangeable parts, so you can mix and match to your heart's content. While different models may have varying components, the core parts of every DynaVap device remain consistent.

Steps upon receiving your first Dynavap:

Step 1: Inspecting Your Device

Inspecting your new device is crucial. Here’s a checklist to guide you:

  1. Cap Check:

    • Is the cap undamaged and free from dents?
    • Note: Due to the laser cutting technique, some caps may have dark edges. Refer to the clip for more details.
  2. Tip Check:

    • Is there a CCD in place?
  3. Tip Removal:

    • Are the high-temperature o-rings correctly positioned and intact?
    • Note: The B model doesn't require o-rings on the tip.
  4. Stem Check:

    • Can you see a condenser inside?
  5. Disassemble and Reassemble:

    • Ensure easy future assembly and disassembly.
  6. Full Device Inspection:

    • Look for any manufacturing issues needing attention.

Step 2: Cleaning Your Device 🧼
Though Dynavap cleans the devices, you might find some residue from machining oils or DynaWax. Here’s how to clean your device thoroughly before use:

  1. Wash Your Device:

    • You can take it apart or leave it assembled.
    • Methods:
      • Run it under hot water with dish soap.
      • Give it a quick bath in isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and rinse with water.
      • Place it in the dishwasher (excluding BB and other glass stems). DynaVap devices are dishwasher safe.
    • Important: Do not soak or submerge the cap in any cleaning solution or water.
  2. Caution When Disassembling:

    • Be careful as CCD and o-rings are small and can be easily lost.
    • If disassembly is difficult, try a twist and pull motion or contact customer support.
  3. Cleaning the Cap:

    • Use a q-tip dipped in IPA solution or water to swab the inside of the cap.
  4. Ensure Complete Drying:

    • Allow your device to dry completely before use.
  5. Reassemble Your Device:

    • Use a lubricant like DynaWax if reassembly is difficult. Any nontoxic, non-flammable, food-grade lubricant will work.

Step 3: Testing Your Cap

Before using your device, perform a dry run to test the cap:

  1. Dry Run:
    • Do not pack the tip and heat the cap until you hear a click.

Step 4: Cap Fitment Test

Ensure your cap fits securely:

  1. Place the Cap on Your Device:
  2. Give Your Device a Shake:
    • If the cap slides off easily, adjust it following our instructions on how to tighten/loosen the cap.
    • If issues persist, especially with the Armored cap, contact customer support.

Final Tips

  • The DynaStash provides a magnet as a cooling station and to remove the cap without injury. If your cap gets stuck, let us know.
